Desireé Becerra
Impact Associate
Desireé joined Slingshot in September 2023. Prior to joining Slingshot, Desireé worked with the Inter-American Development Bank, researching initiatives to incorporate the gender perspective into transportation policies across the Latin America region.
Desireé has extensive experience with policy research, data analysis, and evaluation. Prior to the Inter-American Development Bank, she worked with NGOs, local government, and multilateral institutions on both policy and programming of development projects related to gender, labor force, and transportation.
Desireé holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harris School at the University of Chicago, a Master’s in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom), and a Master’s in Public Management from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Administracion (Venezuela).
