Sanghmitra Tripathy
Insights Associate
Sanghmitra joined Slingshot in July 2023, after completing an internship as a Research Associate during the summer of 2022. Prior to joining Slingshot, Sanghmitra worked with the State Government of Punjab (India), coordinating and supervising development efforts for over half a million people. She helped establish a COVID-19 response war-room, managing and analyzing data from multiple COVID-tracking modules to support the district’s COVID containment program.
Sanghmitra has extensive experience with secondary research and analysis. She has worked with several nonprofits and NGOs, focused on both policy and programming opportunities among several sectors, including health, education, and financial inclusion.
Sanghmitra has a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harris School at the University of Chicago, a Master’s in Development Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (India), and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Delhi University (India).
